´Brívíba´

´Brívíba´ (Freedom) is a collective performance by three authors of the young generation –Latvian director Mârtiòð Eihe and actor Aigars Apinis, and estonian choreographer Kaja Kann. First the performance drew inspiration from the works of the iconic bad guy of American poetry Charles Bukowski (especially his poems Sleeping Woman, Freedom and The Swan). Then gradually the reality of their own relationship took over.
Freedom is neither dance, nor dramatic theatre performance. It has bits of everything -game and reality, participants and spectators, men and woman, latvians and estonians.

Mârtiòð Eihe is Latvian theatre director and has worked in Riga, Liepaja and Valmiera theatres. He received the annual Latvian theatre prize for best debut in 2005.

Aigars Apinis a freelance actor in Riga, Latvia.

Kaja Kann is one of the founders of the united dancers of ZUGA and OMAtsirkus new circus company.
