RAGNAR NELJANDI ´Thursday´

After surviving several incidents the protagonist realises who he really is.

Ragnar Neljandi has graduated from the tv and radio journalism class at Lasnamäe Gymnasium but his studies at the Tallinn Pedagogy University film-video department were left incomplete. Since 1998 he has been the cameramans assistant at many films of Nukufilm and for the four last years he has been working as the cameraman at the making of several feature films and Nukufilm productions. ´Thursday´is his first animated film as a director.

MARTIN OJA, KUDRUN VUNGI ´Rain Terrain´ 

There is a place where umbrellas grow. It’s called Rain Terrain. A bizarre celestial machinery controls its everyday rhythms and hues. What will it take to stop the motion of clouds and make the rain fall?

Martin Oja writes and animates images and sounds. He has studied semiotics and literature, his interests lie in film theory and ecology. Martin has written film critique and published a poetry book in 2004.
Kudrun Vungi is a furniture restoration and design graduate. She has been active at Tartu Students’ Theatre and has made short films before, too.

A pixillation of the four seasons and four eras, which derived from Vivaldi’s music of the four seasons and was inspired by the symbiosis of the four different girls. The Drummer’s empty bed with a fantasy by Ursula, Laura, Elina and Anastassia from EKA’s scenography department.
