KRÕÕT JUURAK & LAURA KALAUZ /EST-ARG/
‘Burning Down the House’ /ESTONIAN PREMIERE/

about fear and play, destruction and creativity, action and idleness, invisibility and silence, threat and consequence, light and darkness, war and firework, same and opposite, fiction and reality, time and disruption, fire and safety, two and one, red and blue, down and up, house and not, panic and escape, love and danger, looking and seeing, criminality and superstition, burning and boredom, safe and escape, promise and delivery, terms and details, game and conspiracy, empathy and (sub)system, kick and comedy, earth and nothingness, peace and rapidity, coin and construction, depth and determination, sense and superiority, subversion and disbelief, sleep and disappearance, ring and vice versa, life and expectancy, replica and reminiscence, cinema and residues, joy and division, (chance and repetitive), thought and train, attack and track, imagination and grip, water and resolution, animal and run down

when the performer suddenly stops performing...
Meanwhile, the star of the show —in his dressing room preparing for his next scene—heard the commotion and came out to investigate. After making his way to the stage he urged the audience to stay in their seats. But as the scenery began burning he changed his tune, saying, ´Don't be frightened, go slow, walk out calmly. Take your time.´(Chicago Daily News, December 30, 1903)
