Riina Saastamoinen /Brussel/ ‘Shine {like the light through the window}’
In (like the light through the window) Shine I wanted to extend my choreographic research on visuality and images. The starting point of the work has been a reproduction of images and associations and the exposure of the body in its vulnerability.
I consider movement as an essential tool in bringing ideas and emotions on a surplus. The basis of my choreography relays on the research on movement and the body, the movement often being associated with a word.
(like the light through the window) Shine is a discovery of intimacy, vulnerability and private/ public space.
