TARMO TAGAMETS
´UMBES´ / ´APPROXIMATELY´ PREMIERE'
We had a text that on one hand meant a lot (for example the part where the hen moved her ears) and on the other hand didn’t mean a thing (when we said ´I love You´ for 8243 times). Then we came to many names of theatres. We just know roughly what this piece that we do is a about. Just so-so. And this is our ultimate truth. NB! What we do will not necessarily coincide with the opinions of the theatres where we work at.
Performance is based on the anti-drama of Mart Usin ´Kanakõrv´ (´Chicken Ear`).
Tarmo Tagamets, Anti Kobin and Erni Kask graduated as actors from Tartu University Viljandi Culture Academy in 2001. By now they have performed and directed in Estonian theatres for over 8 years. Tagamets and Kask are also involved in the work of the artistic group nu.unioon. The current project will be their first time working together on one project.
