’You wake up realizing that the world hasn’t got better than yesterday. The cross you bear keeps taking new forms. You tread your path alone...alas!’ is what Päär Päärenson has said about the message of his production. ’The Valley of Misery’ gives an easy-going and witty look mediated by dance and sound into the world as seen by young men. Into a world centered around the conflict between system and personality.
All of the participants are young professionals sharing the same educational bacground - University of Tartu Viljandi Culture Academy. Päär Pärenson and Ajjar Ausma graduated as choreographers, Johannes Veski and Joonas Parve study acting.
